Privacy policy

Last updated: 27 May 2026

This policy covers the Thesium Chrome extension and the website at thesium.tech, both operated by Thesium. We've kept it short because we collect almost nothing.

The short version

  • The only personal data we ever store about you is your email address and a hashed password. Nothing else.
  • The extension does not connect to your wallet, sign transactions, or place trades. Every order is placed by you, in the terminal of your choice.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your data. No ad network, no analytics SDK, no fingerprinting, no third-party trackers.

What the extension does

Thesium runs locally in your browser. It activates only on the five supported sites — AXIOM, GMGN, Photon, Basedbot and Terminal — and reads the URL of the page you're already looking at to pick out the token contract address.

That address is sent to our backend to fetch the research panel: sentiment label, KOL positions, on-chain metadata, and the associated Twitter and fomo.app feed. The response is rendered in the side panel and discarded when you close the tab.

What the extension never does:

  • Read, request, or store private keys, seed phrases, or wallet contents.
  • Sign, broadcast, or simulate transactions of any kind.
  • Run on sites outside the five supported terminals. On every other page it is dormant.
  • Build a browsing profile, track navigation, or report which pages you visit.
  • Inject scripts into third-party pages or modify their network requests.

What the website stores

If you choose to create an account on thesium.tech, we store exactly two fields tied to that account:

  1. The email address you signed up with.
  2. A salted hash of your password (argon2id). We never see, store, or log the plaintext.

We do not store your name, phone number, postal address, date of birth, wallet address, payment details, browsing activity, device fingerprint, or any other identifier. If you never create an account, we hold nothing about you at all.

Server logs

Our infrastructure keeps short-lived request logs — timestamp, endpoint, response code, and a transient IP for abuse mitigation. These rotate out within 14 days and are never joined to account data.

Investments are yours

Thesium is a research overlay. Sentiment scores, conviction readings, KOL positions, AI summaries, and any other output are informational only. They are not financial advice and not a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, or skip any asset.

You decide every trade. You place every order. You take every gain and every loss. Thesium does not manage funds, custody funds, or execute trades on your behalf. We are not a broker, exchange, registered investment adviser, or fiduciary, and we accept no responsibility for the outcome of decisions you make using information surfaced in the extension.

Crypto markets are volatile. Only trade with capital you are prepared to lose.

Sharing data with third parties

We share data with third parties only when one of the following is true:

  • You explicitly asked us to (e.g. an export feature).
  • A subpoena or valid court order compels disclosure.
  • An immediate safety risk requires it.

Outside those three cases, nothing leaves our infrastructure. We do not sell data. We do not rent data. We do not enrich it or pass it to data brokers.

Your rights

Email [email protected] from the address on your account and we will:

  • Show you what we have on file (it is two fields).
  • Delete the account and erase the email.

We action requests within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR applies. If you are in California, the CCPA applies. The rights they grant are the same rights we extend to everyone by default.

Children

Thesium is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data on minors. If a parent or guardian believes their child has signed up, contact us and we will erase the account.

Changes to this policy

If we make a material change, we update the date at the top of this page, post a note in the changelog, and email account holders before the change takes effect. Non-material changes (typos, clarifications) get a quiet date bump.
